Welcome expersignal,
There have been several post requesting and stating how to do it. But, I don't think anyone know for sure other that getting the information from your dealer.

I'm in Germany also, are you close to Darmstadt?

I'm in the K-town area. Is Darmstadt near Frankfurt? I'm about 100km SW of Frankfurt..

Hey expersignal, I see you are in Ramstein. Yes, Darmstadt is close to Frankfurt, it's about 45 Km south of Frankfurt, where I am...

Yes, live in Darmstadt until around Nov then back to the old USofA. Two years Germany one year Iraq.

Rudy, I am in the same boat with the phone. Won't sync. It has only worked a few times. I am so frustrated.

Spec33, expersignal - you in 5th Sig? I am an RC Sigo myself. Just finished a year in the sand as well. There is another CW4 on the board as well.

ky_soldier,

My problems with the phone don't end with the "syncing" alone. Once I get the car to see the phone (synced), if someone calls me or if I call someone, they can't hear a thing -- as if my mic is muted.

I've given up trying -- the dealer is ordering some new eject boxes and is holding one for me. We decided to let them fix a couple other problem cars first so I won't have to suffer while they sort it all out. Luckily for me, this phone is a secondary one that I got just to leave in the car. I still have my "main" phone in my pocket for the rest of the time.

I'm getting the "new" eject box today with the install of my CPT9000. Dealer tried the old one (didn't work) and had to have the new one overnighted. Apparently one of the BMW field techs hipped the service dept. to the sync problem. I will keep this board posted of any problems I have with the phone.

Definitely let us know. I think the new improved eject boxes have been on back order and are just now becoming available.

It'll be nice to know if you can actually use the phone...
