you will definetely notice a difference in performance. no more scary moments when you put the foot down and nothing happens.

draw back is however i have lost my orange led lights

My Ride: 530d, 2004, full option.

I also have an 530d and I feel that the car is more responsive in D after installing the version 17.

What's strange is that the LED problem seems to occur much more frequently outside US.

And I thought I new my car!! Just went to check and there they were, a nice row of amber LED's.
Now we'll see what happens after next weeks 17.1 upgrade.

Like the most of us in this forum I want the newest, even when it comes to s/w version. So now I have v17. I?m sorry to disapoint you but nothing new happend to my car born november -04. I didn?t have any problems thou except I?m not a fan of the steptronic that is to much non DS in D position.

But I lost my amber led?s

I have 525i. I don?t now what version I had before but the car was made in the production line in november 2004.

I had creaky door seals befor, but the new one i quit, so everything is not bad
