Software update

Can anyone here in the Houston area update the software on my car and I put a new battery in the other day so it needs to be coded for that as well. Trying to stay away from the stealership if I can.

FYI your car does not need to be coded because you re-placed with a new OEM battery!! Plug and Play!

What battery did you put in and what was in to begin with? I put Autozone batteries in my 530xi and X5 last year and waited months before I got around to registering them.
