The only way to reliably do this is to get the "Final Status Report" from your service guys - they read this data off your car and can provide a printout. This will give you an entry in the format "E060-07-03-516".

Cobradav is maintaining an up-to-date listing of Progman versions and the corresponding "E60-XX-XX-XXX" numbers, which you will find here ---> http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...25&start=25

There have been numerous threads here about secret menus in i-drive and the ability to read the Progman version number from them, but this is not always possible.
