Any news of the version 17 of the E60 soft.

It should have been released on mid April.

I have heard that V17 will finally give NAV cars the RDS feature. Anyone know if that's true?
And what else will it do?

Thanks,
Art

By the time it's right, you won't have your E60 anymore! Cars are like PCs these days - full of bugs that we have to discover and complain about, released before they are fully tested and ready (after all it's cheaper for customers to beta test software for BMW), and replaceable/outdated in 2-3 years. I guess we need to get used to this. The best time to get a car would seem 2 years after it comes out and the major bugs have been fixed, but by then (just like with a PC's OS) you'll want a newer model. BMW is just another corporation. We are just consumers. Nothing more.

I think I'll just have to get my M5 on euro delivery, so I can go over to Germany and kick some engineers in the nuts. Anyone who wishes for me to proxy-kick for them, let me know.
