Yeah I don't have lumbar in my MY04 545 either. At first I regretted not getting this option especially after long trips, but then I realized that in other cars with lumbar, I don't even fiddle with it at all.

For $400, not sure it's worth it really. Might as well spend a bit more and get comfort seats.

We missed out with the '04s, no lumbar or PDC standard along with more glitches. Oh well.....

That seems like a mistake. The 545i with sport should have the power lumbar support.
Talk to your dealer about it.

Not true for the 04 545 with sport. Lumbar support was an option for this car. I know becasue that is what I ordered for my car. In 05 it was included at no cost with the sport seats.

My '04 came with lumbar (sport seats) and I never ordered it nor did it show up as an option on the sticker. I remember seeing it as an option and I panicked when I realized I didn't order it. I called the dealer to see if it could be added (pre-production) and the sales rep said I was getting it.

Not sure why I automatically got it...

Ridiculous as it is, Lumbar was still an option (for '04) with comfort seats. That is absurd. I wasn't too happy about paying an extra $400 on top of the comfort seats.

That truly is ridiculous! Are you sure the comfort seats don't include lumbar?

Just to add my $.02. I am pretty sure lumbar was $400 option on base and sport seats. It was included with comfort seats.

Just we are all clear...this was a no-cost option on the 525 (at least the one I owned)...

Maybe it was different with ED, but my July 2004 build (ordered in May) had the lumbar adjustment included in the $1200 comfort seat option. There was no additional $400 charge.

Mine had power lumbar support included with the sport package. 10/03 build. I'm sure I read it was included. That was part of the reason to get the sport package.

It was included on my 525 and it was part of the Sports Package (the window sticker indicated it as well)...not the deal with my 545's though. There was obviously the Sport Package listed but under that, no mention of the power lumbar supports...and as we all know by now...my 545's did not come with them?
