2007 530 with 92,000. No mods except clutch valve. Oil change every 10k miles. No other problems.

What's not to love?
Where in SD you at AP? I was born and raised up near Huron. 07 with 92K pretty impressive, you drive as much as I do...

04' 530i got it 3 months ago with 88K its at 98K now. I have a 98' 528i in my driveway with 237K on it that never gave me any problems, just time to move on with the long trips that I drive so it is for sale.

No mods on the newer '04, only problem so far is that issue I detailed a few weeks ago where if would start but would immediately stall. I hope to get 200K out of this one as well. (Fingers crossed).

I use to have an E39

1) Mileage - 220,000+

2) None, wanted to keep her as stock as possible.

3) Problems Countless to mention however most of them were due to unscrupulous mechanic who took me for a ride ;/

All in all lovely car, drove beautifully, solid did squeak a little but you would expect that. Power was ok for the 528, but it was waning.

4) How your car has been looked after, ie do you have a full main dealer service history etc ?

I took care of it quite religiously though, it didn't do any good as aforementioned bast8r6 mechanic.

In the end she had to go to the scrappies as it had a problem with the steering column and not worth keeping. And the fact some booger complained to the council so it got clamped and not worth getting taxed.

05' 545 - bought 6/08 w/72k

1) Milage: 78K

2) No mods

3) replaced battery 4 times in 2 months (what a pain) - coolant hoses twice - some seal in the engine - also need a program update to get my eyebrows on

4) I dont really save service records for small crap like this.

I can only speak for myself but one thing we've always done here is try to limit the stickies. Some boards have so many stickies that the first page of a forum is filled with them.

Although this thread may be valid and useful to some, it isn't valid and useful to others. If we sticky this, where does it end? Everyone will want what's important to them made into a sticky.

So, in case my opinion wasn't made clear enough with the above, I say no sticky!

2004 545i CPO 92k miles had no issues at all until SMG actuator just replaced last week under CPO warranty. My clutch is starting to slip in hot weather as well. Many sets of tires and a couple brake pads. I love it so far....i'm nervous about the after 100k. Anyone with over 150k miles and what issues have u had?
