So, are my keys dead, or is my diversity antenna the culprit?

Same issue happened on my old C230 when i tinted my windows. water from the process got into the plastic casing of the antenna. Stupidly, the 18 year old that i was back then paid 200$ to have a "professional" fix it... Things like this make me happy i do most of my own work.

Does anyone know where the diversity antenna for my 2008 528i BMW can be found? Is it easy to get to?

I have an 08 528i E60 and I've recently started having the same issue and from all the forums I've read post in and videos I've watched about this issue the diversity antenna is the culprit so I plan to take it out soon and try cleaning it as some of you guys did and see what happens. I know I could sure use some kind of a break with all the repairs I'm having to do.

In response to your question about where the diversity antenna is located in an 08 528i E60, it's at the top center of the rear windows under the headliner.
