The difference in interior volume between the E60 and E90 isn't that significant... The 335's interior volume is 93 cubic feet, the 535 is 99 cubic feet.

Really ? i wouldn't have thought so to be honest, i've been it both and the 5ver seemed quite bigger

I'm very happy with my E60 - but, if it were totalled tomorrow, I would have to take a serious look at a 335i coupe. I'm not a big guy, and 99% of the time spent in my E60 I spend alone. We have two other cars that are both better suited for our family jaunts, so I could go without 4 doors. The interior size difference between the 3 and the 5 is not substantial and almost entirely represented in the back seats.

A 335i coupe provides 911 performance with better comfort and a nicer interior. Spend a little extra on a Vishnu tuning kit, and what a rocket ship. I live at alititude...now that you can get the M-Sport package on the 335i, a Vishnu-equipped coupe would be faster than an M and look just as cool.

But, again, my E60 is great too and barring unforeseens, I'll keep it another 4 years.

Sorry Will, gotta disagree, any other car for me would be the 6 series (if not M5) - still seats 4 REAL adults AND has the handling we have all come to love.

Hahaha not at all. Well atleast it shows that E60.net is active and alive! haha.

BTW the 335i is a great and fun car and quite different from the 328i coupe, but after looking at the OTD for a fairly optioned 335 you're looking at 50K. Another 10K and you can get a 550

i have driven an e90 '09 328i loaner as well, and i own an e92 335i and e60 528i. Each car is very different. the e90 is a different animal from the e92, and the drivetrain and transmission in the 528i is MUCH better than the GM tranny in the 328i. I like the e92 335i the best, but my wife would say otherwise.

Actually the 335i coupe has more rear seat leg room than a 650i. You have to really bring the front seats forward to allow any adult to sit in the back.

Eh, still rather have the 6 Series. At 6'4" I do not need a small car (bad for the knees). Besides, my motto has always been - If you wann be comfortable in my car, make a payment, until then I am the only one that NEEDS comfort.

Yeah, but then people would always wonder how I fit. Besides the mini is cute and I cannot drive something "cute". (too macho? maybe, but who cares)
