WHAT HAPPEND:
Coming into work there's a big curvy road right in front of the corporate campus. Kindof shaped like an "S". Road was really really wet, and came across the turn a little too fast. Started skidding and wasn't able to regain control, and went dead-on into a light post.
Light post got flung(!!) over the car and scraped the trunk.
Few things:
Thank you, beautiful German engineering. Even though the car was out of control, I was able to do some things to prevent going into a nearby pond or hitting the pole sideways.
I walked out without a single scratch, neckache, backache, etc. I'd say that's a +1 for safety features.
Pretty sure all the wheels are cracked. Miro 111's I don't think are known for their rock-solidness. Rear right axle also snapped. Front picture speaks for itself.
And yup, I (thankfully) have full coverage insurance.
That's the only picture I have, I'll have some more once I take a better look at it wherever they towed it to.

Damn. Sorry about your mishap. I am glad that your car protected you fully and took the hit/damage. My friend was T-boned this year and his E60 was totalled, but he walked away harmless. These unfortunate incidents however reassures us that E60 is a well built safe car for us and our families.

Did you have your DTC activated? that really makes a big difference especially when the roads wet. And being a Bimmer owner its only natural to want to roll the curves to feel just how good they handle. But all in all glad you're ok,
