Yup, there is!
However, there are lots of great tutorials in a web for these programs. That's how I've learned some basics.
I don't use PS daily, so I'm still a real novice in it.

How do you like the a300? my girlfriend is getting me one and i get to pick one out... i was looking at sonys because the prices are great for what they give you... this would be my first dlsr.. any feedback would be great... thanks

Well I think it is like any other budget class DSLR. Pros and cons are probably the same with many of them.

I chose the A300 above others because of these pros:
+ fast focusing
+ tilting screen
+ optical image stabilizer in its hull instead in the objective

These cons I've discovered during using it:
- higher ISOs are pretty unusable starting from ISO800 (I think this is the case with every budget class DSLR). Sure the luminous intensity of the objective has its effect too!
- it would be nice if the screen was turnable to left and right too instead of only up and down

I've also found the using of menus very easy. Sure if you get any camera, you'll learn its habits pretty soon.
