Agree as well! I have Hakka 5's and I was going up the hill las night in snowy NJ with no problems at all!

I was to lazy to put snows on this year and in yesterday's nasty condition in northern NJ my car with summer tires drove OK. Not even close to Dunlop M3s I used last year but OK. For me 1-2 days with snow on the ground do not justify 3-4 months of mediocre handling in dry.

Summer tires don't stick well to dry pavement in the cold either. Hence the name. That's why they make performance snows like the Dunlop M3 and Blizzak LM-25. They offer a compromise between dry and snow handling.
