My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

Nope, sorry. My 525xi performed beautifully on the snow with all season tires. I am sure I would have been able to kick some major Vette and Porsches butt with the occasional spaceship in the mix, too, but those guys were too cowardly to take me on.

No problems here because I have brand-new GoodYear Eagle F1 all-seasons on and took off my Summer 166 rims and Exclaim UHP's before winter happened.

That Sir, is why I got myself some dedicated.... It is not easy driving with performance tires (non xi models) without winters...

Go get em

If you didn't know how to turn the wheel, you'd have bigger problems than snow!

Here in Germany it's the law. If you're out driving in the snow, and you don't have snow tyres on, you're (a) breaking the law, and (2) will get quite the shock when your insurance company won't pay out.

You got off easy down there today.

Come on up to where baje and I live.

At least 10 inches in the driveway when I got home. Plow guy hadn't come yet. Street plow sludge in the entry and 200' driveway. Aside from my M-tech acting like a shovel, I cut through it all with my Nokians.

Get some snows dude.
