My Ride: 2005 545i SMG
Sorry to resurrect the 2 months old thread.
I'm at 47k miles now and I'm going to change the transmission fluid and differential on next Friday(4/3/09).
I ordered Red Line MTL and 75w90 differential fluid for 70 shipped.
I'm going to take my car in to the indy shop(had dinan parts installed there and couple of oil changes),
and the owner is very friendly and would flush it for $37.50(1/2 hour labor)
So, in total, i'll be spending $107.50 for MT fluid and differential with better than OEM fluids.
Guys, call around you will be amazed how much you can save by not going to dealership.
I'll post an update how my car feels after flush with Red Line products.
P.S BMW dealership wanted $260 for MT and $160 for differential plus tax.
