SMG tranny??

if you don't mind driving a "prototype vehicle", then go for it. I purchased and dumped a 2006 M5 and never looked back. the concept is great, but the reliability is simply not there. sooner or later, it'll leave you stranded due to mechanical failure. check into total replacement cost after warranty expires.....

9 out of 10 SMG owners (including M5's and some w/ over 50k miles) whom I meet or speak to offline have never had any problems.
