Smg six speed paddle

hi, everyone got a quick question

does the six speed manual transmission that have smg come with the paddles or can they be retrofit. I have seen six speed manuals awhile back that had smg as a feature but didn't see if they had paddles also.

6 speed manual that had smg "feature" That makes me think you're confusing a Steptronic (6 speed Automatic) with SMG. It has a "feature" to let you manually change gears but its completely different. SMGs all have the paddles.

AND smg has no torque converter

i hate it when ignorant ppl say that smg is an automatic with "manual controls", it has a friggin clutch for god sakes...AND it's bmw 6-sp manual fitted wit thousands of dollars worth of hydraulics...
