My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

Thanks for the plug. Sorry for my bad timing. I had a dynamic drive failure where the suspension felt like mush, an active steering fault and a transmission fault. They only happened twice within a few days and have not happened since. I can joke about it now, but it wouldn't have been funny when it happened. Keep us posted.

5,500 RPM IS lugging it (for me that is).
It just a car and I don't get that upset about it (althought I will attest that I used to). So I have a loaner for a week or so - As long as it's not a smelly cloth seated 15K+mileage rental it doesn't really bother me.
