Anyone has doubts ?

http://video.google.it/videoplay?docid=108...04315&hl=it
Who still isn't sure can see this video between 05.30s and 05.40s : after 4s (80 kmh) 545i goes away .
YES AND I SAID I DRAG-RACED A 645iA HERE AND TILL 150-160 KM/H WE WHERE NECK AND NECK AND ONLY AFTER THAT THE 6 STARTED TO PULL AWAY FROM ME BY 200KM/H GIVING ME 2-3 CAR LENGTHS DEPENDING ON MY LAUNCH. And it was in the dry so i can really not waste my torque, AND we went 2 times, if say smth happend the 1st time and the diesel got lucky.
YES i do have doubts about that video, IT'S BEEN DISCUSSED A MILION TIMES ON THE FORUM, SEARCH FOR IT, but i say it again, and i'm not the only one who can see that the diesel was right in the petrol's ass all the time BUT at the end it shows the diesel slower by 3 seconds or so. HOW COME? I dunno. Smth fake by the Clarkson diesel hater? Possibly. Smth went wrong with the petrol car and they had to sort of re-arrange it? Possibly. One of our members wrote to them but no response yet, of course. Or maybe nothing happened and the diesel was right in it's ass on the 95% of the track we've seen and at the end it had a sudden power loss.

Let's go, 535d owners, search a new map, a 400 BHP map, because the 320 (surely they are 320, yes ) BHP is not enought to fill the gap .
Otherwise close your mouth, instead of say :

"A remaped 535d will walk away from a standard 545i" (BetterMakeWay)
(but a 'remaped' 535d needs 20s to do 0-200 kmh while for the 545i are 18s )

"walk away" --> 20s vs 18s --->
OK. I ASK YOU AGAIN? WHERE DID YOU GE THE DATA TO SHOW HOW A REMAPED 535D STACKS AT 200KM/H? WHERE? CAN YOU GIVE ME PROOF? I DON'T HAVE THE ENGINE REMAPED YET CUZ I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE. WHERE DO YOU GET OYUR NUMBERS? BY TICK-TALKING? 20seconds for a 535d remap for 200km/h?Are you insane? And not remaped it does in 30 seconds or what? More like 16.smth buddy if my memory serves me correctly.

This man has a remapped 535d, without optionals (= low weight) and does 19s PRECHARGING the gear : he push the break, accelerates until to reach 3000 rpm and then release the brake pedal (and this is a false 0-100, falsed because it isn't an engine 0-100 but a gear 0-100) .
Without precharging the gear it does 20s .

(andy545 does 18s WITHOUT PRECHARGING the gear)

Your 535d is a special version built for you ?
Or 535d are all the same car ?

That Nicola Spinazzola have done several tests for several weeks, to do the best 0-100/0-200 possible and he do 6.0s and 19s but *precharging the gear* .

Stop, 535d is slower than 545i stock (about 2 seconds on 0-200) and I'm tired to repeat it .

If you think different --> do a video of 15s (like M5 E60, LOL) or a video of 13s (like F430) and show us it .
But don't speed up it with a software, that is a too simple cheat .

Will do that after i get my car remaped. Dunno if 16 is the right figure, i said if i recall correctly when i've seen a figure like that. I may be worng but let's end this and i promoise i'll tape it once i get my engine remaped.
You can call it a bet and let's stop with the insults.
PS: Brake-torquing at 3000rpm IS WAY too much if you ask me. It's like brake-torqiung in a petrol at 4500rpms (normal revving engine). You just sit there spinning the tires till you get grip and go. That's in fact how i do a burnout in fact. Keep it to 3000-3500rpm and then realeasing the brakes slightly.

The link doesn't work for me. It load the page but when i click on 0-180/0-200 or whatever it just shows me the quicktime bar moving and that's it. No image. Or is my quicktime messed up? Tried with IE and firefox and it does the same thing.

Yes that would really suck. Hope noting like that happens. In fact i didn't even know that during routine diagnostics they can delete the software remap. I knew they can only do that on purpose, or during the cip upgrade.
Nice to see the tuners are ready with the new stuff, atlhough i see they posted 340bhp for this version. Indeed it's not a sport version as for the 535d.
if the car is hooked up for diagnostics, and the software determines that it needs an update, it is carried irregardless of what you or your SA wants so be on the lookout

sorry for OT

Of course, i was kidding . If i'll not be able to spank a stock 545 or 645, then i'll just settle down calmly, thanking for the better fuel consumption
