But the question will have early an answer : let me change tyres and after I will go intentionally on highway to make a 0-200 test (with clip) .

After you must do the same and at the end we will see WHO will laugh .
Of course. Lookie here...
Undoubtly the 545i will win by 2-3 car lengths from 0-200km/h. Till 160km/h it's pretty much neck and neck...depending on how the driver launches. I did the test with a 645Ai and the guy is on the forum and he can attest. In fact i've opened a topic about this. And the 645i should be a tad quicker than the 545i. So now i pretty much know how my diesel stacks up next to those big V8s. No reason to make a silly test again, i know i will lose to 200km/h. But wait untill i get my remap done and with an extra of 78bhp and +100NM we'll see who is the looser!!!

LOL at the rate i've promissed myself there is a STRONG chance to do it
No really i hope by the end of this month ...or the next ....i'll get the chance to visit Germany (wetterauer). I have a friend of mine that's selling his car now and begged to wait a bit more so that he can come with me to buy himself a sh car. Hope he'll get a bimmer.
After that i'm a happy man. The thing is i want the remap so badly also i want bigger rims (19 or 20 but i have second thoughts about that), i want some body style changes...and not enough money for them all at a time. I think the remap is the 1st and then the rims...winter is arpoaching fast though

at least germany is closer to you guys. Only thing i would be worried about is if your SA deletes the tuned engine map when they connect the car for routine diagnostic... that would be a real bummer

oh and btw (new 335d>>)

Yes that would really suck. Hope noting like that happens. In fact i didn't even know that during routine diagnostics they can delete the software remap. I knew they can only do that on purpose, or during the cip upgrade.
Nice to see the tuners are ready with the new stuff, atlhough i see they posted 340bhp for this version. Indeed it's not a sport version as for the 535d.

About the MEGALOLLING review - the only on the Earth that says that 535d is faster - I think only an idiot can think that 545i does 6.6s in the 0-100, ROTFL .
I do 6.0s with bad tyres but I know it is a bad time .
Jiio and co. have done 5.8s .
And when I will change my tyres I will do 5.6-5.7, imho sure (with a second gear of 115 kmh, don't forget it!) .
Instead 535d does really 6.7-6.8s and 6.0s remapped .
545i 6.6s ?
Yes, you are an idiot, now I'm sure .

645ci has a best 0-100 because it has the gears about 60-100-160 kmh while 545i manual/smg has 65-115-175 kmh (in fact the 545i Steptronic does 5.4 and has the second gear of 100 kmh) .

78bhp and +100NM we'll see who is the looser!!!
ROTFL, you, always you ..

(Yes, yes, a new map for 535d : +300 bhp and 400 NM)
Pay attention, because if I decide to change the final drive ratio with the same of 645ci ... Shorter gears and bye bye 535d .

Anyone has doubts ?

http://video.google.it/videoplay?docid=108...04315&hl=it

Who still isn't sure can see this video between 05.30s and 05.40s : after 4s (80 kmh) 545i goes away .

Let's go, 535d owners, search a new map, a 400 BHP map, because the 320 (surely they are 320, yes ) BHP is not enought to fill the gap .
Otherwise close your mouth, instead of say :

"A remaped 535d will walk away from a standard 545i" (BetterMakeWay)
(but a 'remaped' 535d needs 20s to do 0-200 kmh while for the 545i are 18s )

"walk away" --> 20s vs 18s --->

I dunno if i speak english or what?!
Of course the 545i can do even 5.1/5.2 seconds and the 535d in real figures can do 7.3/8.5
6.0 seconds remapped? I knew smth about 5.8 according to the tuners like dms or wetterauer. Or they are idiots too?

BTW thank you for the insult. Now i am sure i should have quit the d-bate with you long time ago from post 1, but i was not sure.

In fact the 545i steptronic does 5.4, in fact the 545i does 5.2 in fact adjusted it does 5 dead...ohhhh i'm so sick of this shit. Why do people tend to compare the best times, and only the times they want, and not stick to reviews, mags and other data that tend to show an optimistic and in the same conditions face to face test? WHY? In fact the diesel does not move at all.
DID I SAY THE 535d IS QUICKER THAN THE 545i? Are you crazy? WHERE did i say that? I only said the remaped one will be quicker and it will be.
Say what? Remaped 535d 300+bhp and 400NM? 350bhp and 660NM sounds about right and don't start talking to me about tranny losses. There are things that the steptronic do better at a drag race. You can fry your clutch as much as you like with AA but you will not equal a proper brake torque. Also the 645i i raced was an automatic also. Steptronic tranny does a perfect job with the sequential turbo setup of the diesel. It keeps the boost right there without loosing it by declutching (if it would have been clutch driven). Some say the gearing is better in the steptronic for drag racing than in the smg. Talk to the experts on this and carry on.
You are so blind by your judgement that you don't know what to say anymore.
I'll leave you be and i should have known better from your 1st topic. READ IN ENGLISH BUDDY, cuz i think i made myself clear and yet you twist my words exactly to your liking.
