Hey Guys

Anyone have a smell in their cabin in the morning or after driving for a while, then turn the car off for maybe 1 hour then go back and drive?

i know the gasket is leaking a believe but i cant find any DIY's on the valve cover gasket

so i started doing it in my shop tonight with my buddy and his e46, we just finished his vc gasket but we still gotta do mine,

im going to post pics in a bit,

well i was wondering has anyone done one? i forgot to buy the bolts so tomorrow im going to nappa and gonna finish the job tomorrrow

thanks

I was thinking of doing mine also because i have a small leak and i think it is the VC gasket. Appreciate the pics in advance.

I did mine a few months ago i had smoke coming thru the center vents after driving around for a while also change out the vanos seals while i was in there.
The DIY link below is for an E39 inline 6 vanos seal replacement (similar to e60's with an M54) but to get to the vanos seals you whould have to remove the valve cover so its just like doing a valve cover gasket replacment.
