A small question about welcome light !

Hello ....


Is it possible to enable welcome lights on 2004 E60 ^^ ? (Pre LCI )


can it be done by Coding ON ( GT1-OR-AUTOLOGIC) ??

Hi,

sorry to disappoint you that it is not possible via coding unless you change your light module to the later version which is Oct 2006 onwards. However, if you search under AE illumination, there are ways to have welcome light via rewiring.Hope it helps...

OK so i should change the light module .. is it possible to do Software Update to it whould it be useful ?

if NOT


what should i say to the part shop .. buying the LM by the Chasis number or by DATE ?

Do it via the wiring way man, unless you want to dish out $350-$400 for LM2, and then pay someone to code the car.

You can get a shop to do the wiring for fraction of that cost.

mmmm im thinkin of that

but i have a friend he got M6 2006 or 2007 he bought an LM i think for 200 USD
