Default Small Plastic piece got in coolant system

Top part of the coolant level stick broke off and fell into the tank. A plastic piece smaller than a dime. I cannot find it so it must be in the coolant system.

Is it possible to flush it out? It seems it would get stuck in the radiator so it wouldn't fush out but I'm not sure.

Could it cause my water pump to fail or other parts to fail?

Suggestions.
Thanks

All depends on where it went. If it really did make it's way into the cooling system that's not good. Radiator not so bad as you'd just lose a row, for example. I'm betting it is still in the tank. You should probably take the tank out and get a bucket and flush it out. You need a new tank anyway if you want the coolant level stick.

I replaced the reserve tank and could not find the plastic piece in the old tank. It has to be in the system somewhere unless there’s a filter in the reserve tank and wouldn't let it fall out.

I’m not sure what kind of turbulators are in the radiator. It seems it would not pass through the radiator with all of the piping. If that’s the case, I can’t see it flushing out.

If it’s circulating, then a flush would let it out.
