Sirius radio and cd changer
I am picking up my car this Friday. Today,I was told by my dealer today that adding sirius would run me approx. $900, and my car is 'pre-wired'.
The CD changer would be ove $1000...both prices are parts and labor.
Does this sound right?

Cannot speak specifically to the 5, but in the 6er '05 accessories catelog the CD changer is listed at $655 (obviously parts only). I imagine the part for 5er is identical. Shop in line with Circle, Pacific, Crevier BMW for lower price on unit, then have your dealer quote install only. U appear to be in area that would have mnore than one dealer available to you so shop for best install quote.
Last I heard Sirius units were in short supply. Also can shop the unit itself at same time as CD Changer and work it the same way.
Good Luck
