Just wondering, can we retrofit Sirius now if we have Nav in the car? Anyone done it?

When I ordered my car I couldn't order Sirius prep kit with it but I heard that if you have Nav Pro the wiring for Sirius should be already there anyways. My understanding is that I would need the Sirius module and re-programming and I am good to go. Correct?

 

Not official yet as the CCC (Pro Nav computer) doesn't yet in the Software support Sirius. Possibly it will for the MY2005 (which is what I'm waiting for anyway)

NOW; a thought occured to me. For those who upgraded to Nav Retrofit (had the Nav retro option), did your cars also list Sat prep or did you have Sat?? Might this be a backdoor way of ordering Nav + Future Sirius. e.g. ordering NO NAV, but ordering Sat Prep, then dealer retrofit to NAV???

 

You can order NAV, I see that you have and the sat prep. The hardware for sat will be available around Nov (That was a date given to me the parts dept.) Order Sat prep and you are set.

No Sirius + Nav Pro.... You can try for as kigerka suggests Nav Pro + Sat Prep and wait for the Sat upgrade for the CCC (nav pro computer vs. the basic MASK computer when Nav Pro isn't used)
