I was working on a movie a few months ago that's supposed to come out in the summer of 2008 and the lead character in the movie had a silver R8, among some other exotics. I saw the R8 everyday on the soundstage for more than a month and I have to say that it looked great.......both in and out. It was silver with the carbon fiber "sideblade" (the panel behind the door). There was one real functioning R8 and two other "stunt doubles" that did not have an engine in them and had a fake painted carbon fiber sideblade. By the end of the shoot they had pretty much destroyed the latter two. I saw them with collapsed roofs, etc.

In one of the scenes they had to start the R8 and drive away fast....tire burnout and all. The exhaust did sound very nice.

I also liked the little white LED's that followed the contour of the lower edge of the headlights.

bump

saw a jet black 530 parked at campus village @UCI this morning. had 20" mesh black wheels, dropped and B&B exhaust?

I think I saw member black525 last night. Downtown San Diego, around 7 PM. Black BMW 525 with custom paint on Maya wheels.
Black525, was it you?? I was the one who turned right on the stop light. Silver 5 series.

hmm... i wonder what ice's car looks like from the front now?

wish i was there but my car still looks kind of stock-ish.

today, well technically yesterday, friday, at around 3 or 4 in irvine at yogurtland ... saw imsortofabigdeal. nice seeing you and your gf again man

No HIN LA for me this year last year was the best trip I've had in a while. Hopefully with the new 535 I will do HIN LA next year
