saw stratus gray e60 with 20? mesh rims on bellflower blvd close to cal state long beach heading towards 405 around 630 7pm yesterday...3/3 anyone here?
Are you sure it was an Stratus Gray E60? Stratus Gray is a standard color on the E63/E64 and I would not be too happy if BMW NA let someone special order an E60 in Stratus Gray after they declined my request for that color on my 545. They said they would only do the standard E60 colors when I tried to order Stratus Gray.

It's one of the individual pack colors for the E60, but can you order individual in US?

We haven't been able to order BMW Individual options in the past, but I think I heard that they were going to start (or may have already started) to allow some Individual options be be ordered on the E65.

been meaning to mention this but i kept forgetting. at mckenna in norwalk in the showroom there is a black 2006 M5 with 10-spoke hartge wheels. emblems had carbon fiber vinyls on them. the paint felt a little rough.. wasnt nearly as smooth as the white 2007 m6 convertible on the other side of the showroom. that m6 and a black 2004 m-roadster in the middle of the showroom always catch my attention when i go there.

Not half as gutted as the wife was when I spotted it coming down the slip road and all but ended up on the hard shoulder facing in the wrong direction to let it come past us - It looked stunning in all its Carbon Black sparkly clean glory - it was even without brake dust caked 172's!!!, compared to all of the other winter dirt shod motors it looked stunning.

Indeed indeed........I wonder how long we will be seeing newly registered pre LCI cars for?? Was treking about looking for an updated brochure earlier last week and came across 2 530d M Sports in Le Mans Blue with beige leather and piano black trim in 2 different showrooms (interestingly they were different dealer groups) - they wanted over 43K for each one.....would be interesting to see what they finally go for.

I pity the poor bugger who unwittingly buys pre LCI and then stumbles across the forum - let's see how long it takes.........

On a separate topic - I followed a 320i Touring into work this morning (in itself this is not unique being that that particular model probably outsold the mondeo last year!) however this one was sporting a 330i badge.........why on earth do people do it?? Those who have even the smallest knowledge of BM's and would therefore understand the difference between a 320i and a 330i know that one single straight pipe signifies a smaller capacity motor!!!!!!

Here endeth the rant

Am I the only one that finds this a little sad? (or am I the only one to be bothered?!?!?! )
