If you are facing them you should slide to your right and gently lift the left side on the driver's side ( If i'm not mistaken ) and slide left if your removing the passengers side.

I think the OP was talking 'bout the small blinker by the front fender...

On the same topic, which bulbs (brand/type) are best for replacing them for the Silver or Chrome look? Does the dealer sell them for a 2006?

I would also like to do the front turn indicators after installing Nick's Stickers, but his link got confusing as the Ebay auction was expired and I saw mixed postings on which were bright enough and clear enough. It was pretty safe to say that the chrome or silver tipped, weren't good but there wasn't a clear winner. Anyone shed some guidance for a 2006 550i with xenon's or what they have done?.

Thanks!

I recently bought some from realoem.com because mine were turning yellow and looked like crap. The bulbs came already installed. A simple plug-n-play installation. Press the lense toward the rear of the car and lift the front edge with fingernail. Super easy. I do not, however, know if you can remove the bulbs from the OEM lense. I just wanted the lenses and I got bulbs along with them. Weird...
