im purchasing a 2004 530i or 545i both manuall or SMG I need a vote to note some suggestions

Depending where you from.

If from US the 545iA SMG but if your are from the EU the 530iA is a very good choice.

Actually all E60's are nice - look more for the extras you like and that the car has been in good hands!

I dunno about you cuz i dunno where you live, but if i had only those choices i would go for the 530i SMG.

The 5 series NEEDS a V8 or V10. Just not the same with a 6 in it.


And the SMG is the dog's bollocks.

make shore you look into the option, its not the engine size its the intee. how good and new the intee looks.
If you not a fast driver then go for the lower engine.

I would say 535D in every occasion.. Much power to tune and so little in consumption
