Should I change my oil?

My Ride: 05' 545i Sport Sapphire Black
My car does not call for an oil change for 6000 miles. However my car has not been driven since October 2008, about 5 months. Should I go ahead and change it now?
I have some left over Mobile 1 5w-30 from my old truck. Can I use this?

No the oil will be fine. Its not hydroscopic and wont have collected water from sitting there.
