very sorry to hear the probs you have came across on this E60, hope i dont get them.

If you can, i would say hold out til atleast until early 2010, the sport of the F10 Will be out, and it will certainly move heads, i ve heard nothing but good things about the F10.

Only thing is, rumours and the speculation(as usual) says that we will see a F10 on the Roads by late 2009, so presume the M sport versions will be out usually 6 months after, = 2010, a long while to wait, and many things can happen between now and then, but if you can (pocket friendly also) wait then this is the one i recommend.

I will try and keep this E60 Until 2010, unless the Lotto roles in and well, all changes then.........!!!

 

I woke up and smelt the coffee, after all the positive advice and some castigation from the forum.

I have revisited the reasons why I love the 5 and the BMW brand with the help from the forum, the competition is good but they simply have not got the driver element AND THAT TO ME IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, I like to look at the competition but only through my rear view mirror.

SO I HAVE GONE GOT MY SELF a new LCI 535D SPORT, my deciscion has been made for a number of reasons

• I do not want a e60 outside warranty ( Extending is costly)
• The F10 will arrive in SE trim
• THE DEAL (14%OFF AND ?1K TOWARDS DEPOSIT)
• I hate having last years model
• I would not have you guys to moan too

The delivery is week commencing 12th November my private plate is holding it up a little.

Thanks to everyone for reminding me that the e60 is great.

I will let you know how good the LCI to none LCI is, I am sure RUSS will have his say too.

 

What spec have you gone for? 12 days from order to delivery, is it ex demo or just a pre-order? Congrats, you'll love it

Great spec would have choosen everything myself as a new order, its not a demo, its pre-ordered car which is hanging around in HOOK ,looking for a dealer, great way to buy.

And with the discount and incentives I will only lose 5k when I drive it out the show room !

 

Been away from the forum for a couple of days and just came across this thread, and it just reminds me of why I normally spend so much of my free time here. Where else can a thread start with "I hate this crap" and end 2 days later with "I bought a new one today"

 

Sounds like a great spec - I think from what I hear, the Sports Auto will make a difference
