plain and simple..i have a 05 545i 6spd and i'm looking for a short throw shifter i seen there are a lot out there just wanted your guys opinion before i make a buy

The 5-series manuals have very tall shifter knobs. You can shorten the shifter significantly by just popping off the stock knob and popping on a shorter sport knob.

I would check out Rogue Engineering in North Jersey. I bought their SSK for my E46 330Ci and LOVED IT!! If my E60 was a manual, I would have gotten another one from them. Check out their website. I did not attach the link here as I am not sure if it is against forum rules. Do a search and you should find the site. If you need the link, PM me and I will send. Good Luck!
