Unless the car has seen some hard driving conditions, you should still have plenty of life left in yout current shocks and struts.
I'm not sure what you mean by "uneasy" ride. Shocks and struts only affect how the car absorbs bumps and dips in the road. If you have the sport package option the shocks and struts are less giving than a luxury car setup. Thus the ride will feel "stiffer". Run-flat tires, and/or 18" or larger wheels on the car will also make the car feel this way. But the ride should not feel "uneasy" as you say.
