+1. my car is a car magnet. i could park way out in a lot in the rain, i come out, there is at least one or two cars next to me. another nice car, okay, fine, but an 86 jeep wrangler?
Craig, I apologize for Jeep owners everywhere for this idiots parking skills. Be thankful it didn't rust and collapse on your E60 while it was parked so closely.

If it was a Wrangler, it was 87 or up. If it was an 86 Jeep it was a CJ7. If it was an 83 it could have been either a CJ5 or CJ7.

CJ5 Production 1954-1983

CJ7 Production 1976-1986

Wrangler Production 1987-present

Jeeps were my vehicular obsession before I found BMW in the late 90's. Pic of my 86 CJ7 with transplanted '72 AMC Javelin 360cu in. 5.9L V8 285 hp 4-bbl, OEM stats for the motor. I had it built...headers, cam, blah blah. 8-9 MPG no matter how you drove it. You could actually watch the needle move on the Fuel Guage.

I park as far away as reasonable. I always drop my wife off at the door of where ever we are going. Pisses me off to no end when some moron has to make a point and park right next to my car when there are always empty spaces that are closer. LEAVE MY CAR ALONE. Is that too much to ask?

I parked all the way out today at a Chinese restaurant as I waited to get my food outside and was watching my car. As I'm sitting on the bench one guy parks to the left of me, 3 minutes later 2 ladies pull in on the right side. Wtf? I'm parked like 7 spots away from any other car...

When they see a car parked so far out they probably assume there's no parking closer so they take the first one they see.
