That's why I leave my trailer hitch on my truck. It pokes a hole in their car when they bump into it. It's taken out two Camrys and a Carolla so far but my bumper is fine.

To bad trailer hitches look bad on the 5. Bumper spikes might be a deterrent.

Is your "local" a bar or pub?
What we would call a pub over here. I should have walked really but the wife is 7 months pregnant and isn't too keen on walking anymore!

Still it was worth it just to get a laugh out of this photo!

Think I'll take the ford focus next time, strange but nobody parks next to that!

Sometimes its unintentional... they see cars there so follow it and park behind it... but ya... other times ppl just drive me crazy by wanting to park next to me... seriously... stay away...

Yea, it's human nature to be lazy minded. If you're parked all alone they think "hmmm, he must know something I'll park there too."
especially if it's a sweet sweet e60

He probably thought the same as you by parking behind you would be the safest place

OH man I would have LOST MY MIND!
Oh god since you started this....

i was at the lincoln country club the other day and i parked my e60 at the end of the lot. No one near me and wasnt a busy night. I looked from the window and see this asshole park 4 inches away from me. I walked all the way across the lot and moved my car....was seriously half tempted to drive my heels into the door. I moved my car to another spot and went back in. I honestly think this classless assholes are jealous and see you made it point to park away from everyone so they make it a point to park right next to you. Next person who does it to me when the situation is like this im going to write on their window with lipstick and seal it some spit. i completely understand when the lot is full, but when its empty and you do that shit your asking for it.

One thing i do like is when i park away and another benz, bmw, audi, or something nice parks next to me. I know typically they arent going to be assholes.

Many drivers are just plain nuts. Many years ago, I had a Porsche (VW) 914, recently repainted. I parked it in a mall lot several rows back from all others. When I came out just a few mintues later, some nutty lady had parked her total wreck next mine, flung open the door and knocked a huge chip of paint off my passenger side door. The chip was on the ground. I caught her, confronted her and she totally denied she did it, claiming someone else must have done it.

Yeah, you wouldn't want your pregnant wife to have to stumble home drunk like everybody else!

wow, must have been very frustrating. It happens to me all the time, I park far away from anyone else in a corner, but guess what?? when I get back to my car there is always someone parked right next to me when the whole parking lot is empty..Doesn't make any sense.
