My Ride: 2012 535i M package
hello guystoday I received a call from S.A saying that one of my shocks is leaking. he saying that in order to replaced it.. probably would cost around $1,200.
don't you guys think thats a lot of money for just one shock??
any help please
also does the cpo covers any of these parts?

i'd suggest if you are able to drive the car, go p/u and get a 2nd opinion at another dealership. Don't even mention the shocks - if in fact the shocks are leaking then they will let you know.

I believe when the shock is leaking, you'll probably see it leaking out of the shock or strut body. When you get the car back, grab a flashlight and look at the "damaged" shock. Make sure you ask your SA to note on your ticket, which shock(s) are supposedly damaged/leaking.
I don't think you'll see the leaks on the floor, but simply on the shock/strut body. Get a second opinion as others have noted, but don't tell the shop about "shock issue".
