Service Reset Help
#1
I just got my front brake pads/rotors replaced by a bmw tech, but he wasn't able to reset the brake pad service due. He even tried using his laptop by pluggin into the car to reset and was unsuccessful. He said my after market wear sensor could be the problem.
I went and bought a OEM sensor from the dealer and replaced the aftermarket sensor. I tried resetting it myself via trip reset button and unsuccessful - I didn't have any problem with resetting other service items in the past.
I am wondering if anyone on the forum experienced this issue and seeking solution to this problem.
