Service notification after assist ???

So I let my BMW assist laps, June 23 or so was when the service was suppose to be renewed. (Found no real value considering roadside assistance is in my cellphone)
For the last couple of day the car has been indicating service due with but still 700 miles to go( for me that's like 2 months driving) so I didn't pay much attention as I'd call for an appt. when I got down to maybe 200 miles. Anyway today my local service center call to schedule an appointment.
I thought the condition based service notification was part of BMW assist but maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe it will still call 911 in the event of an accident too?

Well, maybe you got lucky, or I'm just unlucky. My service indicator came on for an oil change and unfortunately I was unable to get it in right away. Anyway, I actually got to -200 miles on the service indicator with no call from BMW or my dealer. I had changed the oil on my own at 4,000 miles and they had not reset the indicator, so I wasn't worried about going over. Point is no call from BMW, just a flashing warning every time I started the car. My free year of BMW Assist lapsed in Feb 2005...
