My Ride: 2010 535i, Sports Package, Nav, Prem Sound
My 2006 530i has reached 81k miles (bought it with 36k miles) and its close to the end of the CPO warranty (ends in early 2012). I'm thinking I should keep the car for the long term.
So far the car has been fairly reliable, especially lately. So far I've had to replace the water pump, mechtronics sleeve, thrust arm bushings, and battery.
What things should I look out for? What parts fail at around 80-90k miles?
Recently, I've noticed a clicking noise coming from what I think is the climate control blower (fan). When I turn "Off" the climate control, the clicking/ticking noise goes away. Also it appears to only happen at lower fan speeds. What could this be and would it be covered under CPO?
Thanks for any advice.
