Does BMW have a website that lists all the recalls or service bulletins for the E60? I'd like to be better prepared when going to the dealer, especially for this annoying noise coming from my doors.

BMW does indeed have a website where you can download all the BMW Service Information Bulletins.

The bad news is that they want you to pay to use it.

Go to: www.bmwtis.com

This is the same website that all BMW service technicians use each time they work on your car. They obviously don't have to pay to use it so if you can get your favorite technician to share his user name and password you should have no problem.

There's a web site, All Data, that costs about $25/year that has many TSB, recalls, etc. available.

The only problem is that I don't think they are as current or up-to-date with the latest information on new models.

I forgot to mention that you can download an awful lot of BMW service bulletins in 24 hours so the $25 daily fee may well be worth it.

And if someone was really generous, they could spend the 25 bucks, download the information and share it with all of the nice folks on here!

Fred's advice is the best if you want the most up-to-date information. (Maybe we can all contribute to some fund to have "shared" access to the TIS site? Probably violate whatever license agreement they have though )

You could also try the NHTSA's site.

They do have everything for free but they probably don't have every bulletin. There is one listed for the 2004 E60 though!
