Hi, not sure if any of you discovered this. Those with start stop button but without the comfort access feature, you can actually start the engine with the key in your pocket. For those with the start stop function, try this:

1. Start your car the usual way, key inserted and press start.
2. Stop the engine, do not open the car door, remove your key from the key slot.
3. Step on brake and press start. Whrooommmm....

However, once you open the door, you won't be able to start again without the key. For a moment, I thought I have comfort access by accident..Damn....too good to be true.

Yeah but when you take your key out doesn't the car shuts down radio readiness and stuff ??? Maybe it's a software issue

This has been discussed in What Car magazine on a 3 series. Apparently that is a safety feature against car jacking.
