Seafoam, to do or not to do??
#1
So I've hrd nothing but positive results after many ppl have tried it even a few with the N62. I'm not a big fan of anything that comes in those little bottles but I wanna know is it worth a try? Not that I am experiencing anything to push me to try this but more so as a maintainance type of thing, anyway you guy's input is always appreciated

Some may say Seafoam worked for them, but a person posted on bimmerforums.com on what it is and it's nothing magical.
My preference is Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus fuel system cleaner (not to be confused w/ Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner).
You should do some research on bobistheoilguy.com for more info and opinions.
Good luck.
Michael.

try to use Techron in DI engine..... In DI you need seafoam poured through vacuum lines directly into intake as Techron will be injected directly into the cylinder and will not clean the valves.

I've wondered about seafoam too. I was looking up the techcron and I see good feedback about this too.
Would that be better than techcron? I'm gonna pick up a bottle of something tommorow.
