I got in my car to go home yesterday (2005 525i) and heard a couple beeps after I started it up, then the screen was dead. No stereo, phone, no computer at all. The car ran fine and the bluetooth connected to my phone, but nothing was working. I went to the gym for an hour and when I came back out, the car started up fine and everything worked. Any ideas what could have gone wrong?

 

I had this problem twice since I bought the car and the dealer can't find whats wrong, seems for some reason the computer doesn't boot up for some reason.
