Good day ppl,I would greately appreciate your help in the decision on purchasing a scan/diagnostic tool, before I get bashed,I have red most of the topics and have an issue,firstly I live in the Caribbean an own a 2008 E60 Lci M package right hand drive from bmw,my car is a 520i petrol with the n46b20b engine, most of the places I have searched support 525i and up . Iwould like a unit to read codes,clear them,clear check lights, do some coding and allow data streaming with anything extra. I'm a do it yourself kinda guy who don't believe in getting ripped off by the dealer. Thanks for your help.

This is pretty simple. Believe me, the stuff link INPA and NCS Expert and the rest are very hard to set up and use.

 

thanks I'm looking into it, I forgot to mention I also have an audi and mercedes, so a scanner which would work on all would be useful.

 

The scanner from BMWhat on Amazon.com says BMW and MERCEDES on it

But u might need a MB app

But BMWhat is awesome, I bought it and coded the digital speedometer, no seat belt chime, unlock doors with key is removed, and some others I am forgetting. I also read and cleared the fault codes. So far so good. That's on my '08 535i N54.
