I know this must sound painfully elementary to some of you, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to 'deselect' a channel that?s been previously 'stored.'
In the manual it says select 'x' and call a number to have it removed. However, I'm thinking this is more of a SIRIUS subscription removal function, and not a preset channel issue.
Please, for the love of all things holy, can someone shed some light on this for me?
Car in Question - '06 550i w/ Nav and obviously SAT radio.

My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
Everything with SAT radio is trial and error. I do not think I have ever removed anything. What I have found I have to do is just store over it with a different channel. I did this so I could get the "order" I wanted from the steering wheel button. So I had channel "a" = preset 1, b = 2, c = 3, d = 4, etc. I wanted c in 2 and b in 3, so I had to go to the channel I wanted ? and re- store it into 2 and then to to channel b and store into preset 3. Same thing if you do not want the channel "x" you have in any preset channel you have to store something else on top of it. I have not tried to simply get it to an empty preset (no channel stored) after having something in it and I do not know if it is even possible.
You could switch keys and see what you get. If they are blank then do those the way you want and give the bad set up to your wife/gf/best bud
