I've got business navigation on my (UK) 53 plate e60, and it's been acting up recently. Many times when selecting a new address, the message "address not on DVD" appears on the screen. This happens even though the address has been on the list when initially selecting it, and also with addresses already in the address which have been previous destinations.

The other problem is when guidance does actually start on a known address, nothing appears to be happening: All the display shows is the direction arrow, but there are no voice commands, no mileage to destination or estimated time, and no road names. It remains like this for the entire duration of the drive.

I've not changed any of the preferences or guidance options, and the DVD looks to be ok - I'd never even touched it before ejecting it to make sure it was not dirty or damaged. I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered a similar problem before I book what will likely be a pricey trip to the dealer?
