I went with the Auto Zone battery Gold version. Can't remember the exact name, but was given the info from this forum. The Ca and Cca were an exact match. Their books show a different battery so if you go with an aftermarket one, just make sure the specs are the same. Hopefully the dealer will change out yours though. If you are still under warranty I hear they will.

Hopefully, this is more likely the case. Thanks for the reassurance.

LOL. sorry Rez I just have to laugh at this one...."famous swirl marks" I swear EVERY person talks about bmw dealers putting swirl marks when washing their car. I'm scared to bring my car to dealer to do it.

UPDATE: Just got a call from the SA. Turns out it WAS the battery which had to be replaced. According to him, the battery didn't like the new battery cable, and was acting abnormally, and not holding charge. (In simple driver terms: The battery started to show it's weakness after the cable replacement).

Earlier, due to my inconvenience, SA had sent a valet with a loaner to my house who dropped off the loaner and picked up my car. It was a 335d which I wanted to test drive and this was a great opportunity to do it.
