nah...no scratch or any sort like that...my car's not lowered and i believe stock cars can run over common humps without damaging the bumpers...but wad i am worried abt is the suspension springs...hopefully they are fine...and no warning lights/msgs
Not true...my car 'scratched' itself over a speed bump close to work. I now take special care to reduce speed to a crawl while negotiating this bump.

Check for vibrations, weird sounds, steerig pulling or stuff on smooth roads. Vary speeds to be sure. Also when you pay the tire service a visit make sure they re-check all 4 tires and rims even for rim balance because even a small deformation of the rim, invisible to the eye can unballance the rim.

Also from what i understand you went over it without braking. That most of the times is a good thing because when you brake hard the car dives moving the weight center to the front and thus making front of the car (incl tires, rims, suspension...) more vlunerable to the shock. Sometimes to slow down a bit more and no to move the weight on the front, you can yank on the handbrake, even lock your rear tires to minimize the shock as much as possible. Just to let go of the handbrake before you reach the bump or pothole, and also make sure there isn't any car right in your ass.

As long as you do not have RFT tires or 124 wheels you should be OK. RFTs and 124s are very easy to damage.
unfortunately thats wad i have... will check them out when i am free today...
