Yes, I use 2,5 F and 3,0 R.
Seems to be about right for 245/40 18"
PS. 2,0 F and 2,4 R is way too little.
The RF's don't give any harder ride with + 0,5 bars extra,
but rolls better, less tramlinging and saves gas.

I just checked the inside of the door-panel in my BMW just to make sure on the recommended tyre pressures for the 245/40 R18 93Y run-flats:
2,0 (front) and 2,4 (rear) is the recommended tyre pressure for a load of max. 4 adults;
2,4 (front) and 2,9 (rear) is the recommended tyre pressure for a fully loaded car (5 adults + load).
Doesn't your car jump all over the place when you're driving on your own with the 2,5 F & 3,0 R pressure ?

take the pressure from the side pillar at the drivers' side door and add .1 (european type pressure reading, is that bar?)
can try adding .2 as well.
when fully loaded it's different again, as pointed out on the pillar sticker. but for daily driving adding .1 is good.

yes, thats how you should control your tire pressure. The back is always more (2.7)... REAR wheel DRIVE

I have Dunlop RFTs on 17" rims and the sticker on my car door panel has the exact tyre pressure recommendations like yours (2.0 for front and 2.4 for rear max 4 adults). I have tried using a higher inflation but find the car feels very bumpy so I am sticking to the recommended pressure and checking it every 2 weeks (which is a pain). Seems that the recommended pressures are quite different for various models after reading all these posts, could it be that it is due to run flats and non-run flats have very different recommended pressures? The door sticker is most probably meant for the original factory fitted tyres so if you have run flats from the factory and you subsequently changed to non run flats you might need to get the correct recommended pressuren for these type of tyres.
