I am trying to get a price for a retro-fit of the extended voice control and the Auxiliary Input to my 535D Sport with media pack (05 version before Extended voice Control was standard)

Out of 5 garages called ...

2 promised to call me back and haven't
1 said it's not possible to update the voice control and couldn't find out how much for the Aux
1 said ?130 for the Aux and ?500 for the Voice control
1 said ?300 for Aux and ?350 for the Voice control

What the heck is happening - is it really that difficult to come up with a price without using a dice?

I have also asked about paying for a software upgrade - no takers at all from the 5.


If anyone has experience of garages near Edinburgh, please let me know.
