Yup older BMWs actually have a REAL FULL size spare with matching 5th wheel... now its a $20 pep boys donut.

New E60 have the spare in EU but it is not a normal fullsize wheel.

Sounds like somebody helped themselves to your jack. It comes with the 545i, not sure of other models.
Also, if you include your location & car model in your profile/sig, it makes it easier to get answers, since many things are geography and/or model specific.

You seem not to be a specialst on BMW, no problem, here you will be one.
But please update your car specs on My Controls.
This way it's easier for your fellow Forum members to help you.
A E60 is the current 5-series, the old 5-series was (is) called E39.
The E60 comes with a spare ( and a jack).
Many of us who owned a E60 for a longer time, no not like the Run
Flat tires because they are hard, heavy (in pounds) which isn't good,
because of the unsuspended mass (weight) and seem to harm the
driving comfort in all.
Even good old AC/DC knew this one:
I got the Jack...
